AUGUST 2007 PRESS RELEASE During the month of August, the Goshen County Victim Assistance Office provided services to 135 total victims with 32 new cases and 50 new victims. These services were provided through 23 Personal Contacts, 229 Written Contacts, 51 Phone Contacts, 42 Court Escorts, 52 Research and Restitution situations. Of the total new and ongoing cases worked in August, 37 cases were investigated by the Torrington Police Department, 37 cases by the Goshen County Sheriff’s Office, 1 case by the Platte County Sheriff’s Department, 1 case by the Lingle Police Department, and 1case by the Wyoming Highway Patrol. In order to accomplish this the Goshen County Victim Assistance Staff and Volunteers worked a total of 278 hours.
