During the month of April, the Goshen County Victim Assistance Office provided services to 198 total victims with 18 new cases, 48 new victims, and 150 victims in ongoing cases. These services were provided through 35 Personal Contacts, 135 Written Contacts, 56 Phone Contacts, 38 Court Escorts, 114 Research and Restitution situations. Of the total new and ongoing cases worked in April, 37 cases were investigated by the Torrington Police Department, 20 cases by the Goshen County Sheriff’s Office, 2 cases by the Wyoming Highway Patrol, 1 case by the Lingle Police Department, and 1 case by the Cheyenne Police Department.
In order to accomplish this the Goshen County Victim Assistance Staff and Volunteers worked a total of 358.5 hours.
