During the month of January the Goshen County Victim Assistance Office provided services to 253 total victims with 67 new victims in 28 new cases and 186 victims in ongoing cases. These services were provided through 47 personal contacts, 122 written contacts, 89 phone contacts, 27 court escorts, and 70 research and restitution. Of the total new and ongoing cases worked in January, 49 cases were investigated by the Torrington Police Department, 26 cases by the Goshen County Sheriff's Office, 1 by the Wyoming Highway Patrol, and 1 case by the Lingle Police Department.
In order to accomplish this the Goshen County Victim Assistance staff and volunteers worked a total of 282.5 hours in the month of January.
