During the month of March, the Victim Assistance Office provided services to 169 total victims with 40 new victims in 20 new cases and 129 victims in ongoing cases.   These services were provided through 65 personal contacts, 124 phone contacts, 198 written contacts, 55 court escorts, and 51 research and restitution.  Of the total new and ongoing cases worked in March, 48 cases were investigated by the Torrington Police Department, 41 cases by the Goshen County Sheriff's Office, 1 case by the Lingle Police Department and 2 cases by the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

In order to accomplish this, the Victim Assistance Office staff and volunteers worked a total of 397 hours.
