During the month of May, the Goshen County Victim Assistance Office provided services to 267 total victims with 25 new cases, 40 new victims and 227 victims in ongoing cases. These services were provided through 75 Personal Contacts, 258 Written Contacts, 135 Phone Contacts, 60 Court Escorts, 109 Research and Restitution situations. Of the total new and ongoing cases worked in May, 47 cases were investigated by the Torrington Police Department, 36 cases by the Goshen County Sheriff’s Office, 2 cases by the Wyoming Highway Patrol, and 3 cases by the Lingle Police Department.

In order to accomplish this the Goshen County Victim Assistance Staff and Volunteers worked a total of 376 hours.
