JULY 2006 PRESS RELEASE
During the month of July, the Goshen County Victim Assistance Office provided services to 167 total victims with 22 new cases, 32 new victims and 135 victims in ongoing cases. These services were provided through 31 Personal Contacts, 170 Written Contacts, 103 Phone Contacts, 46 Court Escorts, 46 Research and Restitution situations. Of the total new and ongoing cases worked in July, 46 cases were investigated by the Torrington Police Department, 34 cases by the Goshen County Sheriff’s Office, 1 case by the Wyoming Highway Patrol, and 3 cases by the Lingle Police Department.
In order to accomplish this the Goshen County Victim Assistance Staff and Volunteers worked a total of 340.5 hours.
