The County Clerk is responsible for providing a number of government services to the citizens of Goshen County. Our goal is to assure these services are provided as pleasantly and efficiently as possible. The Clerk's responsiblities include being Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, Chief Election Officer and Registar of Deeds. The Clerk is also responsible for issuing marriage licenses, County liquor licenses, Certificates of title, and filing Uniform Commercial Code transactions. At the direction of the Board, the Clerk issues warrants in payment of bills, including payrolls, maintains pertinent records and documentation and is the county budget officer. The Clerk records all documents and instruments as required by law, maintains all books, records, deeds, maps, and other instruments required to be recorded or filed.
