GOSHEN COUNTY CLERK CYNTHIA KENYON
The County Clerk's Office is a busy place and is responsible for many duties. The Clerk does the payroll for the county and maintains employee records and benefits. The Clerk also provides Accounts Payable services and acts as clerk to the County Board of Commissioners. She prepares the Commissioners' Agendas and distributes them at the meetings as well as takes the minutes for the Commissioners' meetings, publishes them in the newspaper, and posts them on the county website. The Clerk also acts as the Chief Budget Officer
The Clerk is the County Recorder and Ex-Officio Register of Deeds. Our office records real estate documents such as mortgages, deeds, mineral leases, plats, covenants, and other documents and maintains a permanent record of these documents. The public can research and make copies of the public records kept in our office. We also record notary bonds and military discharge papers (not a public record).
The Clerk is the Chief Election Officer and is responsible for conducting and holding the federal, state, and county primary and general elections every two years, and any special elections required.
Our office issues vehicle titles and files liens on titles. The Clerk's office also issues Wyoming Marriage Licenses, catering and malt beverage permits, and administers the Liquor License application process.
