Three lactation/breastfeeding consultants are on staff at the Public Health Office

FREE Program for All Pregnant Women and Families with Children Under Three

  • Meet one on one with a public health nurse

  • Educational tools and developmental toys offered FREE with visits (books, toys, diapers, clothes, and other baby items)

  • Applications for financial assistance to eligible women

  • Referrals to community resources

Goals:

  • Improve pregnancy and birth outcomes

  • Strengthen families

  • Improve child health and developmental outcomes

  • Promote family stability and economic self-sufficiency

Pregnant women may apply for Medicaid at the Public Health Office.

  • Growth and Development

  • Safety

  • Immunizations

  • Community Resources
